In order to give some more visibility into the topics we cover in the TDC meetings here is the planned agenda for the next meeting. Hopefully this will allow people to plan to attend meetings for topics that they have an interest in. And for folks who cannot attend they can comment on this issue prior to the meeting. Feel free to suggest other potential agenda topics.

How to proceed with format: decimal, see #3190

• Agreement to remove registry out of draft status. @MikeRalphson @handrews
• No objection to remove the specific extension registry now that we have namespace registry as we believe it is more likely to stay up to date.
• @MikeRalphson To add additional known extensions for current OAI members
• What is the impact of the an existing registry entry in the formats registry?
  Does the existence of an entry in the registry mean tooling MUST implement it? No
  Does the existence of an entry in the registry mean tooling SHOULD implement it in the way it described, if implemented? Yes
  Should the existence of an entry prevent another entry being added that has the same meaning with a different name? Yes (until there is a good enough reason to make it no.)
  What do we do if there are ambiguities in the definition of what format means? If there is perceived value then we should call out that ambiguity and point people to formats with less ambiguity.

@baywet to summarize the above in formats registry index.

• Regarding decimal, create a entry describing the challenges with that format. And a separate PR for new more precise formats.
