# Run canvas apps and model-driven apps on a mobile device
21+
When you create an app, or someone shares an app with you—either a canvas app or model-driven app—you can run that app on iOS and Android devices by using the Power Apps mobile app. If you're on a Windows device, you can only run canvas apps; model-driven apps aren't supported on the Power Apps mobile app for Windows devices. In this topic, you'll learn how to get started and run a canvas app and a model-driven app on your mobile device.
22+
23+
To learn how to use model-driven apps running on the Power Apps mobile app, see [User Guide for model-driven apps running on the Power Apps mobile app](use-custom-model-driven-app-on-mobile.md).

> Customer engagement apps (such as Dynamics 365 Sales and Dynamics 365 Customer Service) don't run in the Power Apps mobile app. Instead, you use the Dynamics 365 for phones and tablets apps. ## Install the Power Apps mobile app
36+
37+
To follow this procedure, if you're not signed up for Power Apps, [sign up for free](https://make.powerapps.com/signup?redirect=marketing&email=) before you begin, and then download Power Apps from the [App Store](https://itunes.apple.com/app/powerapps/id1047318566?mt=8) or [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.msapps) onto an iPhone, iPad, or Android device running a [supported operating system](../maker/canvas-apps/limits-and-config.md). Also, make sure you have access to a canvas app that you created or that someone else created and shared with you.
38+
39+
40+
## Open Power Apps, and sign in
41+
42+
Open Power Apps on your mobile device, and sign in by using your Azure Active Directory credentials.
43+
44+

47+
48+
49+
## Find the app
50+

59+
60+
- **My apps**: For canvas apps, this displays canvas apps that you've opened, apps that you're the owner of, and apps that you can edit. For model-driven apps, this displays all model-driven apps that you have access to.
61+
62+
- **Sample apps** (canvas apps only): Displays sample canvas apps from Microsoft that showcase real application scenarios with fictitious data to help you explore design possibilities.
63+
64+
- **Favorites** (canvas apps only): Displays canvas apps that you've marked by selecting the ellipsis (...) on the app tile, and then selecting **Favorite**. To remove an app from this list, select the ellipsis (...) on the app tile, and then select **Unfavorite**.
65+
66+
![Mark as Favorite.](media/add_favorite_app.png "Mark as Favorite")
67+

### Use Siri shortcuts to pin to home (iOS 14 or later)
120+
121+
The Power Apps mobile app is now integrated with Siri shortcuts, which gives you the ability to pin to home, launch apps with Siri, and create new workflows. For more information on how shortcuts work on iOS, see [Shortcuts User Guide](https://support.apple.com/guide/shortcuts/welcome/ios). This feature requires Power Apps mobile version 3.20092.x or later.
122+
123+
Users on iOS 14 or later can use Siri Shortcuts to pin an app to the home screen. The new experience works for both model-driven and canvas apps. When you add a Siri shortcut, the app is added to the iOS **Shortcuts** app and from there you can add the app to your home screen.
124+
125+
126+
1. To pin an app to the home screen, select the ellipsis (...) on the app tile.
127+
2. Select **Add shortcut to Siri**.
128+
129+
> [!div class="mx-imgBorder"]
130+
> ![Add shortcut to Siri.](media/add-shortcut.png "Add shortcut to Siri")
131+
132+
3. Add a custom phrase to open the app using voice commands and then select **Add to Siri**.
133+

135+
>![Select Add to Siri.](media/add-shortcut-1.png "Select Add to Siri")
136+
137+
138+
4. The app is added to the **Shortcuts** app on your mobile device. Open the **Shortcuts** app and select the ellipsis (...) above the app name.
139+
140+
> [!div class="mx-imgBorder"]
141+
> ![Select the ellipsis to add a shortcut.](media/add-short-2.png "Select the ellipsis] to add shortcut")
142+
143+
144+
5. Select **Add to Home Screen**.
145+
146+
> [!div class="mx-imgBorder"]
147+
> ![Select Add to Home Screen.](media/add-to-homescreen.png "Select Add to Home Screen")
148+
149+
6. On the upper right corner, select **Add** and then select **Done**.
150+
151+
> [!div class="mx-imgBorder"]
152+
>![Select Add.](media/add-shortcut-3.png "Select Add")
153+
154+
155+
7. Go to your home screen to find the pinned app.
156+

> [!div class="mx-imgBorder"]
158+
> ![App shortcut on home screen.](media/add-shortcut-4.png "App shortcut on home screen")
159+

You can customize the shortcut icon but it is limited to the customization options in iOS. For more information, go to [Modify shortcut icons](https://support.apple.com/guide/shortcuts/modify-shortcut-icons-apd5ad5a2128/ios).
